Need help with music files

I have loaded onto my Icon a folder with my music files. I put the folder in the the phones music folder. I can view the music files with the file explorer. I purchased an ap call Folder Play but it does not see the music in folder I put on the phone. I need to make a play list of the music that is in the folder. I am not sure how to proceed because there is at least a hundred songs.

I had to go check out the app as it sounded interesting.

So what I did is I placed the folder in the Music folder on the top level but you don't even have to do that, you can place it just on the phone. Be sure to disconnect from the USB cable prior to running the app.

It would appear the app doesn't recognise the existing folders in the Music directory so you can't put the folder in Album as an example.

Hope that makes sense. Also, it appears not to like subfolders either.

I moved the files directly to the music folder. I had to restart the phone for it to see them. I will do some more testing.
