Sorry if this has been discussed in depth. I find it annoying to see an app in the store which wants all the phone's features in order to use the app. Why does a game need location services, or the photo library, or the microphone, etc.? I understand that perhaps there are lazy developers who don't bother to uncheck these features when they compile a game, but there's no telling whether they are just lazy or are being snoopy.

With iOS, the apps present a Yes/No dialog whenever a service is required, and the user has the option of allowing or disallowing it. At the Windows OS, we just get the option of using or not using the app.

It would be really nifty if Windows 10 started this process of allowing the consumers to control the app's access to features. I and maybe others might then want to download and use more apps.
