Maps Stuck on Perspective View

Our Lumia 521 (WP8.1 fully updated) is stuck on perspective view in the native Maps app. There is no perspective icon visible at the top right and the two finger swipe mentioned in Help+ Tips doesn't do anything.

I don't know how long it's been like this since it's not my phone.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

If anyone has the same problem, I accidentally fixed it.

I reinstalled HERE Maps and the perspective view unlocked. Apparently it was in that view when I uninstalled HERE Maps a while back and it messed up the settings.
