using a lavalier mic on a windows phone? App??

Hello, Was wondering if I'm able to use a lavalier mic plugged into my phone and use it to record versus using the phones built in mic??? any apps? I know they exist on the other sad OS's. Or is it a limitation for us so far?? Thanks all!

Its technically possible, but since the phone doesn't have a MIC only input, you'll probably have to buy pr make and adapter between the MIC and phone

No clue what a pr is. Lol. Sorry. I'm new to this. I have a l920 and a one m8 for windows. My friend has and iPhone and says he can use his phone with a lav mic to record versus using his dslr built in mic.

Sorry, should of been "buy one", if your friend has one try and plug it in and see if you can record.
