I have been using Nextgen reader for almost a month now and am very happy with it! Takes some setting up of feeds, but renders RSS beautifully!

    Hi all,

I was a loyal user of Weave newsreader which, sadly, stopped working in March.

I have since been looking for a similar reader. I would like something that:

    1. Comes with some handy pre-loaded categories
    2. Allows to add RSS feeds
    3. Create custom categories

Ideally, with a top-to-bottom scrolling format, rather than left-right.

I have been using Flipboard for the past month, but I can't seem to get used to it. The news bits all seem a bit random to me.

I also tried Fuse several times, and I just could not get used to the UI.

Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

Phonly and Nextgen reader are both great. I prefer Nextgen a bit more...The MSN News (Bing News) is good too.

Thanks. I've been meaning to give Nextgen a shot. Never heard of Phonly, so that's a new option as well to try.

I already use the MSN News app, but it's somewhat limited for my use. Good for top news, but for work I need the very latest, in minute detail :)
