What is Facebook Messenger error 602?

NL 1520 is having problems logging onto the FB Messenger app... I get error 602...Anybody else having these issues? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, soft reset and nothing seems to work

I'm having this same issue. I have tried to log in with different Facebook accounts, re-installing the Messenger app, and soft resetting my Lumia 930. It's interesting that this happened without an update to Messenger. It seems to have happened soon after I installed the "Microsoft Messaging" update. I wonder...

This is one of my most used apps. Hopefully there's a solution soon.

Messenger seem to work on girlfriend's Lumia 640 which has the same build and updates.

Is it the Facebook Message app?! It's working for me... Maybe it's just a backend issue and they managed to fix it...

I just switched from an iPhone to the Lumia 640 XL today, and I was pretty bummed about Facebook Messenger not working because of this error. It makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one having this issue. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
