    Hi there Dan.

What is your office looking like these days?
Are you using the latest and greatest on your desk?

At my home office (where I am 80% of the time) it's this:

    1. Surface Studio (Core i7, 980M)
    2. Two extra Dell 27" FHD monitors
    3. Surface Ergo keyboard

I still have my custom iBuyPower PC, which is a Core i7 6700K with a Samsung 850 Pro SSD and GTX 960 graphics card. That PC is obviously much more powerful and in someways I prefer it, but the Studio is enough for my needs too. I just need/want to upgrade the SSD to a 960 Pro to improve performance.

At our office (where we shoot video) it's another Surface Studio (965M) and another iBuyPower PC with similar specs except it's a Core i5 with a GTX 970 GPU.

I'm also testing a new Dell XPS Tower and Lenovo IdeaCentre gaming PC (reviews coming soon).

    Thanx Dan!

I'm looking at better SSD's for my desktop right now (and a newer i5 powered notebook)

    Also another quick question.
Would a hybrid drive be a good option for a boot drive with massive storage?

That's what's in the Surface Studio and it works for many people. All else being equal and if you can afford it I'd prefer a 1TB 960 EVO + 2-4TB HDD for storage.

It's future proofing too as you can take it with you for your next PC. Really though once you go performant SSD you don't go back. It makes such a huge difference.
