    Hi Dan!

I've occasionally been searching the web for new information about the upcoming Surface Pro 5, but it is, obviously, more or less dead silent.
However, one rumor that I've read on multiple sites is that MS might drop the Intel Core processors in favor of the Snapdragon 635. I can't see this happening. Can you?

Also, do you think the device is coming up anytime soon?

    Best regards!

While I am not Dan but I think I can answer your questions. Snapdragon 835 are too light to handle windows and it would be a downgrade from the current intel Core processors. so no, theyre most likely sticking with the next generation of Intel Core processors.
As for when its available, I think its a stable cycle and they should release something later this year

To add a little bit, it might actually be the Surface 5 (non Pro) that could have a Snapdragon 835 inside it. Though, I'd prefer if they used one of Intel's mobile Core M processor.
