I know it's "on hold." Will it ever become on the Xbox One? Would it have a chance to land on better hardware like Project Scorpio?
I know there are products out there that can do this, but I purchased the Xbox One with "promise" that it would have been released in 2016. I would have to purchase another piece of hardware for over $300, which is not in my current budget.
Before they made the announcement of this being "on hold," the uservoice was sitting around 2,000-2,100 votes. Currently it sits over 5,700 votes. If this gets another 600 votes before E3, it will triple what it was before becoming "on hold" within 1 year.
With 5,700 votes, OTA DVR sits at #32 not including backwards compatibility titles (222 if you include BC titles). If you exclude the "this should be free," "that is too expensive," "free free," and "cheaper cheaper" uservoice items, it sits at #25 .
Is this not high enough on their list?
