I have a problem and I know very soon most guys will have it too.

I'm on the insider slow ring and I activated the sd card encryption and later
updated the mobile os to the latest version which is Windows 10 Build 15063. I later realized some of my apps were running very slow so i did a hard reset. Now everything is working perfectly but my phone (Lumia 640XL Dual sim) can't open the encrypted sd card even though i encrypted it with the same phone.

I think the screenshot below is what happened to you (attached for others to be aware!!!!).

I don't know if you can retrieve your info (check OneDrive for back-ups), you can go to this page on your phone (Settings > Update & Security > Device encryption), and follow the 'Get Help' link to see what you can do.

Good Luck!

**Warning this will erase all contents!

Run Command Prompt as Administrator

>DiskPart
>List Disk
>Select Disk x (x=the drive number you wish to format/fix)
>Attributes Disk Clear ReadOnly
>Clean
>Exit

Now go in to Disk Manager and you should be able to see the drive and format it.
