How does Call Reminder works in Cortana?

If I create a reminder to call anyone in Cortana then it doesn't not show any reminder. When I call that people it shows A circle sign when I am calling that person. So How it works?

People based reminders are to remind you to tell somebody something next time you speak to them. For example, I might say to Cortana: "When I next call mum remind me to tell her the funny thing that the cat did earlier".

Then the next time I call mum, or mum calls me, the Cortana reminder pops up with "tell her the funny thing that the cat did earlier". It's not restricted just to telephone calls either, as if I was to compose an SMS or email to mum then Cortana would remind me and I could put the funny story into the text/email.

lolololol - spookily I actually have that as my mum's ringtone!! The first 20 seconds anyway. Downloaded it from Zedge ages ago, back when I had an iPhone 4s!
