Having played with the new iPad Pro and it's variable 120Hz screen (they call this ProMotion) and seeing Asus release laptops with 120Hz and now 144Hz, is there any chance Microsoft might do something similar with Surface? Beyond making everything smoother it could also further improve pen performance.

I think the Surface Laptop has it already. So maybe it will come to the Pro line later.

The Surface Book and Surface Pro do not have it and Microsoft may not implement it asap.

It is still rumoured that the Surface Laptop has it.
