Please clear up for me when you can get free Office. Is it based on screen size less then 10.1"? Will you get Office mobile, full Office, or Office 365? Will your device have to be running in S mode? What happens to your free copy of Office if you switch out of S mode?

Edit: Is Office in the store and is that where you download your free copy from?

I'm not Dan but according to Microsoft's website, you can get the Office Mobile apps for free and use them for basic editing.
View, edit, and create documents with the familiar Office interface optimized for mobile phones and tablets. Core editing is free for consumers on devices with screen sizes of 10.1 inches or less.

And by “core editing” they mean most features, with some behind the subscription paywall, but I’m not sure which those are.
