Audio Software wierdness

I am running windows 8.1 preview on a Lumia Icon. Sometimes if I close my music player (any music player not any one specifically) the music will still be playing but the app is not visible when I hold the back key to get the running apps. It is obviously running, why isn't it visible? I have to re-launch the app to be able to access it to change the song or to close the app.

This sounds like a bug to me. WP8 as a platform will let music run in the background but should always show you what's playing when you press the volume button or turn the display of and on. If this isn't happening the music player is bugged, try to uninstall and reinstall it (if it's something like Xbox music).
