update didn't finish

Hello!

I started an update on my phone, it gets to 100% in 'preparing to install' then nothing happens. Whenever I reboot the phone it restart this 'updating'again and it uses up a lot of space on my phone's memory as the % grows.. How can I make it to continue or at least stop updating?

I have Nokia Lumia 820, it shall be the latest system update, I have wifi connection but even if I turn it off and restart, the % of 'preparing to install' goes up to 100.

Have you tried connecting your phone to the charger for the update?

suggest a soft rest, then let the update FINISH, if it starts up, again.

Alternatively, go to Settings >> About >> Reset your Phone - BUT, it'll delete EVERYTHING !

After many restarts somehow the screen to install finally appeared, the problem is solved, it is just weird that it was this hard. Thank you for the answers!
