Nokia Lumia Icon with Mio Alpha

I recently bought a Nokia Lumia Icon with the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, and was hoping to use it with my Mio Alpha Heart Rate Monitor, but Bluetooth LE is disabled. Does anyone have any luck of some how getting the Mio Alpha to work with the Lumia Icon? Do I need to downgrade to WP8.0? If WP8.1 final will be released soon, I can probably just wait. If not, I may sell the phone and go back to my iPhone. It is kind of disappointing that RunKeeper isn't available on WP...
