As long as you sign with the same account on the new phone it can either be done by a restore, or via the store app in the 'my apps' section.

The apps are linked to your account, not your phone nor its backup.
I've started fresh on my 920 multiple times - my apps were always there, except for the unlisted ones.

Hmm I can't find it, I use my same @live.com email address so I'd think it should be the same account. In the store app I don't see a my apps section. I did call the phone a different name, would that be a problem ?

Found it, down the bottom, the 3 dots.

    cheers
