windows phone 8 / 8.1 sms validity only 24hr ??

Sent SMS validity on windowsphone windows 10 mobile still only 24 hours?

Hi i recently switched to lumia 920 from symbian .. I missed many features from symbian .. one of biggest one was sms validity... is it bug , flow I dont know what to all but its important feature missing.. On symbian phone in sms we has option to increase sms validity to one day,3 , 7 days or maximum days.. as a result if we send sms & if it went from phone (balance cuts) by setting validity maximum or more than day and if receivers phone is off or no network coverage for more than 24 hr they use to get sms when they switched phone on or gets network.. even after 10 -15 days.. but on my windows phone i dont have setting to change sms validity and by default its 24hr only.. if i send sms & if receivers phone is off for 24hr i get thread after 24hr unable to send msg try again.. in fact i spoke with network provider & they said its handset feature. I know age is off internet ,IM Whatsapp etc but sms is important feature that cannot be omitted.. many times whatsapp , internet servers r down & all people dont use IM ,Whatsapp etc... is there any one to solve this or report this to windows phone team ?? I notice this when i send important sms to some one whose phone was off for day & when he switched if on he did not got sms & i got thread sms was not delivered try again... :sweaty::unhappy::unhappysweat:

SMS availability is down to the network, not the phone. I think its 30 days for me.

nope on wp its 24 hours its not network setting i hv seen it on other nokia
vs lumia
