Canon Microsoft deal

Is anyone else concerned about the possibility of Lumia changing from Carl Z to Canon? After all imaging is one of two things, the other being off line navigation, Nokia has done correctly since the N95.
Actually I am still waiting for my 10X or better lossless zoom.

10x lossless zoom in a thin device? I guess that's a joke...
Samsung Galaxy Zoom does optical zoom, but I don't want such a thing in my phone.

True, the optical zoom on a phone is not my cup of tea, but if the pureview geniuses can create a lossless 10X I am getting it for sure.... Unless it does not have a microSD slot.

This deal probably benefits Canon more than Microsoft.
Canon could use some help with their aging photo processing engine anyway.
