Nokia lumia 1520 8.1 update

I have a nokia lumia 1520
i have updated it to developers preview 8.1
when the official release of 8.1 for 1520 is available,,will i have to download that update(official 8.1 release)again??

Not the entire update but the part that you're currently missing, i.e. the cyan firmware. You'll also get any OS updates that you're missing
