Nokia software recovery tool installation

I have a windows 7 32 bit.last night i was trying to install the Nokia software recovery tool on my laptop after it have downloaded the essentials file and began installing an error pop up saying vbscript can not be accessed please help me

try to install this Fix It by Microsoft. and then reboot and install the software recovery again!

i tried using fix it but still it didnt install can you help

Open cmd as Administrator and type




reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}" /f


^ this line removes the incorrect entry and then type the following line to ensure that vbscript is properly registered




c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 vbscript.dll




Now try to install the software, if it didn't work then let me know

I tried but it shows error the system was unable to find the specified registry key or value

have you tried scanning?
sfc /scannow in cmd (administrator), see if there's an error. it takes some time though!

open cmd as administrator
Type "sfc /scannow" press enter, it will take some time anywhere between 5-20 minutes
be patient!

if the software is released for your handset, it will give you that regardless of the specific country you are in.
