nokia lumia 930 wireless charger dt601 burnt

[WPCentral Question]

I have had the Nokia 930 for 3 days.
Tonight the DT601, the wireless charger that comes with the phone, did not work.
On close inspection, there are shiny marks on the plate!!!

Could it have burnt out already??
The phone does get hot during charging!!

There will be a phone call tomorrow to the retailer without question!!!

So has anyone else had this??

Yep, had mine for 3 days too, Stopped charging with a shiny mark on the center of the charging plate. Another has been ordered free of charge, so lets see if its the charging plate or a fault inside phone

Same here, had my 930 since Wednesday last. Have been using my DT-900's to charge the 930, neither of which have ever given cause for concern. Today put my previous phone NL920 on the charger that came with the New 930. Walked back in the room about an hour later to see the phone wake up for no reason, the indicator light flashing on the charger. Then it stopped charging. Phone was cooked, but only 77% charged. Not going to risk it again. Never had this issue with the DT-900's. Needless to say it will be going back. Whether the Flag ship goes back to port Nokia as well, i'm not sure.
