800, 801, 810!

One thing bothers me..

I have seen many threads over the internet about Snapdragon chipsets. People are writing about how 801 is much better than 800, and 810 is a way better than 801 even if they are all clocked at same speed. But is it that so?

I understand that the higher the number is means its newer chipset and of course better than previous, but differences between those numbers are minor right?

So can someone explain me what features does Snapdragon 801 has over 800? Why should I buy a phone with Snapdragon 801 instead of 800? Is it REALLY worth the extra money?

I don't think 801 vs 800 is a big deal, also they may have the same clock speed but maybe different architecture for more power and efficiency.

it has an improved cpu. It has the same gpu as the 800. So you won't see that much of a difference in terms of graphics. When the htc w8 comes out, we'll see the comparisons with the 930
