Nokia Lumia 1530?

I plan to acquire a Nokia Lumia 1520 soon, but was first wanting to know if Microsoft had any plans to release a Nokia Lumia 1530. I've not heard anything, but perhaps it is only rumors at this point? I'd love to have a brand new 1530 if Microsoft plans to release one.

I haven't seen any news or rumors specifically about a Lumia 1520 successor. As of now, the Lumia 930 is their latest high-end phone. The 1520 is still a really good phone. It's got kickass hardware and runs great. Don't just plan on getting one, really GET ONE. And even if they do release a 1530 soon, the 1520 will still be able to keep up with new features, as long as the hardware allows of course.

Thank you, as soon as I have the time and transportation I'll get a 1520. I've done a lot of research on them and I really like them, so owning one will be great.

There has recently been talk of Microsoft working on three new Lumia models to be released early in 2015. Given the current lineup, i.e. 530, 630, 730, 830 and 930 plus variants, it seems logical that that those three models would be the 1030, 1330 (which has been all but confirmed) and the 1530. I can't see why there would be a 1525 released now but the eventual 1530 may just be an update of what was to be the 1525. My 925 will be due to be replaced by about the middle of the year and I think a 1530 could be the winner for me.

Sailing in the same 925 boat, cant wait till middle of this year. Might go for 1520 in a few days.
The 1530 rumours are causing a lot of confusion :angry:

For the price I think 1520 might still be a great choice.
