Windows Phone update Cortana in the UK isn't Cortana.

I am based in the UK and updated a few months back using the Developers Preview to get 8.1. I changed my region to the US to use Cortana. The new update yesterday enabled me to get my local version and she works the same but she sounds English, which is nice, and, I think, she understands me better but she was very good before. The strange thing is she doesn't respond to Cortana anymore. If I ask her what she is called she directs me to a web page... boo. But this does open up the possibility that I could call her something else? Personally I would call her Navi (Zelda, Ovarian of time anyone?) That would be fantastic.

Does this sound about right to everyone else UK experience?
