I've had a Lumia 920 since its release. Last month, my microphone seemed to have a problem. Namely, people complained that I seemed to be talking from a distance. However, if I activate the loudspeaker, they hear me fine. Obviously, this is not ideal especially in a work setting.
I sent the phone to a local repair shop. The problem went away for two weeks, but it returned yesterday.
I don't believe the Lumia 920 has a successor in sight. So I'm wondering if I should fix this again, or should I purchase the 1020 when I head to Galway, Ireland later this month?
I currently live in Mozambique.
PS: I don't have an immediate need for a new phone, I'm using my old N9. However, I did get used to WP8.
