Project My Screen not working after WP 8.1 GDR1 PFD Update

I guess the title explains it all, I always use the Project My Screen App in my laptop to control my phone whenever it's plugged, but I noticed that after updating, it's not working now. In settings, it goes forever on "Searching" which I can't remember being there before.

Anybody else has this issue?

same issue here: Lumia 920 with 8.1 GDR 1
tried everything now... delete all drivers, reboot notebook, reboot phone...

Well. "Project My Screen App" works great with Windows 7 and Windows 8. you just have to flush the drivers "Universal Serial USB Devices" and let the system find the just installed "Project My Screen App" WinUSB drivers. With Windows 8.x these drivers will not be installed, because Windwos 8.1 has already better version of the drivers. Windows 7 has BETA drivers (6.1.7601.17514, Windows USB Class Driver BETA), when Windows 8.1 has proper ones that support the Mouse events to the Phone (v6.3.9600.16384, Widows WinUSB Class Driver). Probably the reason for the Windows 7 not to pass the Mouse events to the phone is the lack of Isochronous transfers that Windows 8.x has (hxxp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff540196%28v=vs.85%29.aspx)

It worked fine with Windows 8.1 before I updated my Lumia to WP 8.1 Update 1 Preview. The problem is in my phone, not in my laptop.
