Cortana only works with headphones

Hey there,

I've downloaded the dev preview for 8.1 update on my Lumia 925, I've loved it so far, but I've come across a problem. Cortana has started only working with headphones, I've tried every solution I could find online, I've tried a hard reset, recovery tool, location is on, Bluetooth is off, tried it with WiFi on and off, and I've tried turning Cortana on and off as well. I'm out of options, is there anything y'all can think of?

I have exactly the same problem and i really don't know why.

Lumia 925 with the 8.1 dev preview (for months now..) and Cortana never seemed to hear me. I actually tried the recovery but it didn't work.
I didn't have the time to search more so i left it at that waiting for an update but today i accidentally pushed the search button and called Cortana while having my headphones connected and she heard me fine (***** ><)

I know it's been already a few months since your post but have you find a way to make her work without headphones yet ?

(I'm french and use Cortana in french)
