I officially updated my Lumia 520 to cyan and was searching for Brightness & Tint slider. Where is the Brightness & Tint slider under display setting? Has it been properly updated or I missed out something?

I have posted similar thread about my Lumia 820. Unfortunately, features like brightness slider, sound settings and etc are available only for new models. Bummer.

Have you heard about old devices getting this features in cyan update? I mean old but high end phone like 1020, 1520 coz 520 doesn't have a glance screen and a audio equalizer due to low end hardware, and what about new 530 are this feature's available in it?

I can almost guarantee you that the 530 is a downgrade from the 520.

I heard that Lumia 530 has a glance screen and different other features that 520 doesn't have. I think in 530 the new snapdragon 200 processor chipset has a little bit high specs then 520. In 530 they have just reduced the storage space to 4GB from 8GB, otherwise 530 is superior to 520.

Brightness profile is seen Under Settings > Display for every Lumia Devices AS SHOWN IN WP STORE (DISPLAY APP> WHAT'S NEW)

Which phone do you have? Do you own a new Lumia series such as 530, 630, 930, etc? As I updated my Lumia 520 to cyan but couldn't find brightness slider under setting > display> color profile, it only shows two sliders color temperature and color saturation.

Nope, the 630 doesn't have glance, and the even lower end 530 doesn't have it. No double-tap-to-wake, loss of sensors, camera key, etc. Best to compare our 520 to the 630.

Shame. The lumia 530 looks more like a downgrade compared to the Lumia 520. Ex: Lumia 530 has video recording for about 480fps while the Lumia 520 got 720fps

Hehehe. There's nothing like high end phone and low cost phone. Updates are being release same for all wp8 phones. Yes, some features won't be available because of hardware limitations. You can check that in your phones help section. I'm using Lumia 620, updated my phone and got all features. I think there is no option yet like brightness slider. But it has sliders for sound options. Got folder tiles, cortana, and everything. Using dev preview...

The 530 isn't more powerful than the 520, despite being quad core.

The 520 is capable of 1080p video playback, while the 530 isn't.

The 530 is a massive downgrade from the 520.

At least the price is downgraded to match somewhat.

My Lumia 920 with the French CV ROM has been flashed to 8.1 + Lumia Cyan and there is no new brightness options I can see. (I've updated the appropriate settings panel too)

I think Nokia should release a chart which lists all the features which are available and not available in cyan update for all the Lumia. Just like the chart that was released during the black update.
