Windows phone OS and Android

Just as we have seen HTC launching M8 with windows phone
does that mean other phones are also compatible of having a different os all together??
is it possible to have android os on a windows phone os running device???

HTC obviously makes the devices and then puts the operating system on it that people most desire.

While what you are saying is not completely impossible, there are sadly no experienced developers who have wanted to try this out.

You know how unfriendly iPhones and Apple are to developers messing with the hardware right?

Yet, people like ih8snow have been able to(or atleast claimed to) run Windows 8, an Android kernel and so on with an iPhone.

I imagine since Windows Phone is still a bit more relaxed with people messing with the phones, if someone manages to unlock the bootloader they might be able to flash a different operating system.

But this would take a lot of trial and error, possibly bricking phones in the process and no one is really willing at the moment to do something like this with Windows Phone.

It is possible, you just need to have a lot of money and experience.
