Need help spending remainder of Microsoft gift card!

I have an odd request, I need assistance in spending $0.34 left in my Microsoft account. I have to spend it in order to switch my Xbox gamertag to new Live ID. This is coming from Microsoft's Xbox tech support. They told me I must deplete the account before I can make the switch. (Which sounds really bizarre to me) I had $3.50, now I'm just looking to spend the remainder. I've looked everywhere haha. Again, a very odd request.

So why not buy a cheap Windows Phone Xbox game for $.99 like Max & The Magic Marker and $.34 will come from there and the remaining balance from your credit card. If you are asking for a recommendation to buy something valued exactly at 34 cents, there is no such thing.

Really? Why not? I'm pretty sure I've done that in the past. If not, you're out of luck, then, as there is definitely nothing available for purchase in the store for precisely 34 cents.

Microsoft was actually able to credit me $0.65 to make a purchase. So all's well.
