    Hi,

I am growing a little frustrated since I cannot find a function to add an end date to reoccurring appointments in the WP 8.1 calendar.

Am I missing something or is this basic functionality really not available?

    Thanks for your help.

I can understand your frustration. It does not seem like a difficult function to add. However, MS has designed the native calendar on WP to work with the calendar on the main Windows account, where all the functionality actually is.

On your desktop/Tablet/laptop, go to your Outlook account. Then at the top left, select the drop down menu next to the Outlook.com name. Select calendar. When that opens, select the recurring event, then click the "see details" option in the pop-up box. It will ask you if you want to see only that one day, or for all ocurring events. Select "all". Then the option to select the end date will be about halfway down on the edit options.

Sorry that is so difficult. One of those things I use all the time, and it is annoying to only be able to edit on the computer. But it will synch seamlessly with your phone.

Thanks a lot for your answer. That is rather a complex workaround. I would love them to add that functionality.
