    Now that Apple has also its own smartwatch, don't you feel that MS is taking quite long to release its own version? Already late to smartphone race, wasn't smartwatch/wearables that would have bought MS back in race.

    Wearables are still pretty niche. Not many people are buying them and few people are interested.

    If MS plans to bring one out it has to be the best on the market for it to succeed and at a price that people will want to pay. Which appears to be the issue with wearables currently.

    A good watch for me to buy one would have to have a battery that at the minimum goes for 2-3 days, preferably a week. If MS can do that and have a great interface then they have a chance.
