HI - I would appreciate help on this issue.
I upgraded my lumia 620 from windows 8 to windows 8.1 (using the phone update feature). To do this, I had to uninstallmany appa (including whatsapp) to clear enough memoryfor the upgrade to be successful.
Now,after the upgrade, I wanted to reinstall whatsapp. Went to the app store, and tried installing, but am getting the following message:
"Attention required. Tap here"
When I do this, it says :
"We're having trouble installing this app. If this is the first time that you've seen this message, go ahead and try again. If the app still won't install, go to your Phone Update settings to make sure that your phone software is up to date".
Trying again results in the same "Attention require. Tap here" again and again.
I tried:
*) opening "storage sense" and changing settings for "Store new apps on my" to phone , and also "Store new downloads on my" to phone
*) restarting my phone after making these changes
No resolution yet. Checked on wpcentral....seems like a related issue posted in :
WhatsApp returns to Windows Phone, brings new features | Windows Phone Central .....but didn't work for me.
