Cannot open panoramas in creative studio since 8.1 update

Hi there,
I have a nokia lumia 1020 and ever since the 8.1 update my phone refuses to open panoramas in creative studio. An error message flashes up too quickly to read but says something along the lines of wrong file format or dimensions. It's the same panorama app as before the update (lumia panorama). I've done hard and soft resets any ideas?

Panorama should be a separate app not included in Creative studio now.
Creative Studio has been updated lately some features are gone.

Photosynth might be a fun option for you as far as panorama apps go.
