What happened to Cortana on My Nokia Lumia 520 after WP 8.1 Update?

No Cortana in My Nokia Lumia 520 after WP 8.1 Update.

I Live in India. I Have updated my Nokia Lumia 520 WP 8 to WP 8.1 but still I can't find Cortana in my phone. I have updated my phone 3-4 weeks ago. I have tried changing the speech to English(UK) but it didn't work.

Cortana for all other countries (where it's available) is only on WP DP8.1.1

You need WP8.1 Update 1 for Cortana in India.

OR

Cahnge you region to US
lANGUAGE TO eNGLISH US

If you don't have the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 installed, it won't be active unless you set your region to USA. With the Update 1, it'll become active in the UK too, I believe.

To check if Update 1 is installed go to Settings>About and check if "Software" says "Windows Phone 8.1 Update".
