Hey I was wondering if anybody had news about when the windows 8.1 + cyan update for the nokia lumia icon for verizon customers is coming out? I am super ticked off because I upgraded from my 928 (that was working perfectly) because I heard that the updates would not extend to the first gen lumia 928 but it would be available to any of the new ones.
So I upgraded to the lumia Icon because the rep said that the update was not available for it yet but it would be in the next month. It has been 3 months now and still the windows update availability website says it is still under testing. So I took it upon myself to say dang you verizon for pulling the wool over my eyes and did some further research. spoke with a rep from nokia and they said it was up to the provider on if they were going to offer it or not and they had no news that they could give me in regards to any new phones coming out that I would want to wait and get.
I then talked to microsoft and they could not give me any details either.
Does anybody out there have any news? Am I screwed? will they ever release?
