Hi guys, saw similar but not exact questions addressed on the forums. Have two questions:
1. Does Windows Phone support USB audio out in any form? I just got my GDR1 release for WP8.1 and it still does not seem to be supported. I thought I'd read speculation in the past that USB support would possibly be expanded in WP8.1...I guess not.
Note that my use case in question is not referring to making the device compatible with an in-car system, I'm asking because I would like to use my external portable headphone DAC, which accepts USB audio in. If I can bypass the phone's internal DAC, it would be preferable to using the headphone jack. I have many Lumia models, but in this case I'm using the Lumia 930, if that matters.
2. I'm curious if any of you have seen any music player apps available for Windows Phone that support the FLAC file format? If so, do any of them also support hi-def resolution files (24-bit)?
