Basically due to lack of apps. & most of them go for other OS as its more popular than WP. Also its a personal choice.

Personal choice, some dislike the lack of apps or functionality, some dismiss it for speed and/or simplicity.

But I've mostly seen people dismiss it for design and apps, at least in my country.

In my country still many buy wp(wp sales are twice of iPhone sales here). Nokia always comes up with a unique dynamic design, lower end wps don't lag, also its faster, performs excellent even on older processors

How are the sales of the higher end Lumia devices? Just wondering.

In my experience, only a minority of people cares about the apps, how the system works or even how the apps looks like... the majority of people choose Android for the imposition of the seller/carrier and the fact of social pressure... example if relatives, friends owns "X" product most likely you will end up buying that "X" product.

I cannot even put iOS in the same league as Android because is so expensive that in many countries is just a minority like WP.
