Why is it so that the much awaited Lumia 830 is launching worldwide for around $420-$430 EXCEPT in INDIA where it has launched for $470!!!

Also the Lumia 930 had launched worldwide for around $500-$530 except India! Now, even after 3-4 months, the Lumia 930 is priced at $650 in India at launch!!!
(No problem with Lumia 730)

Please note that a difference of mere 40-50 dollars makes a lot of difference in ₹! (rupees - INR)

Moreover, many important accessories including the wireless charging Flip cases for Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 haven't launched!! It's partiality!!

Now, should I wait for a month for the prices to lower down? And, are there any chances of the accessories to come to India?

I'm too upset! >:-(

Also, the ₹6000 discount from Snapdeal - App may be for a limited time; not for more than a month, isn't it?

its still fine because the effort they put in their phones is worth it

Toh phir apne efforts ki kimat vasulne ke liye India hi milta hai kya!! India mein kya paise ke jhaad lage hue hai!

But it's true though! The Lumia 1520 which was launched for more than Rs. 45000 is now available for just Rs. 34000! So, just confused 930 or 1520!

Its not even taxes,if they can reduce pricing bit by but from 28k to 20k within a few months ,it means they are cheating and overpricing ,still Nokia and Moto don't do it as much as the other companies so its still fine because the effort they put in their phones is worth it

are you sure? Nokia has a longggg history of launching phones at high prices and then cutting it down. Lumia 800 was launched at 29k and quickly brought down to 22-23K, same is the case with many other phone, look at lumia 1020. only lumia 720 remained stable.

But official price of 1520 is ₹42k & don't worry the sites which offer 1520 so cheaply would offer 930 even cheaply after some weeks of 930s arrival

Nokia cuts price? I don't think so!
Check out the prices at Nokia's India page. There are all the Lumias heavily priced! The e-retailers are the ones who cut the price to clear their stocks. Not the company! Lumia 1520 is currently priced at Rs. 42000 on Nokia's online store. However, it's lowest price is Rs. 34000 on eBay.in!

None phones remained stable. 720 was launched at more than ₹19k, now the price is less than ₹16k. Other companies also reduce the prices the same way or even more than Nokia does. Its just business, because some people are very excited about buying a new phone so they don't care about the prices much, so when the phone gets older than a month every company starts decreasing its prices month by month.

They do cut prices, 925 was launched at more than ₹35k officially, now the official price is around ₹28k. Same goes with other phones too. They don't cut the prices drastically, but they definitely do it
