why does my lumia 925 freeze?

i experienced this problem two times,my phone just gets stuck sometimes and i'm unable to to do anything on my phone, at this times.I bought it from switzerland,but i live in srilanka, so i do not have warranty either. i have to wait the whole day till my phone's battery runs out and switches off. After i plug the charger the phone starts working fine as normal again, i experienced this problem two times, and do i need to get my phone fixed??? or is it normal?The first time it froze we couldnt call my phone from another phone either, but, today when it froze again, the phone's alarm rang but the screen is frozen., and we cannot do anything, it runs the lumia cyan update for windows 8.1,but my phone showed me earlier that it requires another update,is iot some software problem, or is it just normal?

Try a soft reset. These freeze used to happen with some phones. To force the reset, push both volume up, volume down and the on/off buttons at the same time for 10 seconds at least
