WPCentral Question

Hi everyone,

I've got Windows file manager app called 'Files' installed on my Lumia 1520 8.1. I connected my phone to my pc and moved a folder onto the phone. It shows up in the 'Files' list when I open that app. There are only .pdf files in the folder, and they also open correctly. What I'd like to do though, is pin this folder to my start screen. Holding down on the folder gives the pop-up menu, but pinning isn't an option. Any ideas on how I might do this?

Thanks for any help :)

I haven't found a way yet - however, add it to your Onedrive and pin that to home screen, this might be a good workaround if it suits your needs.

add file to desired OneDrive location/or folder if preferred.
Navigate to OneDrive app on your phone
Locate file/or folder you want on your home screen
Press and hold that file/or folder and select pin

Done :)
