Has a fix been found to the 8.1 update chewing through battery power?

[WPCentral Question]

After updating my L1020 to 8.1 my battery started draining in a matter of hours. I've turned of everything in the background and it continues to drain, and it charges very slowly. Has anyone found a fix to the issue other than reverting back to 8.0?

Power off and back on. If this doesn't fix. Turn off battery saver. If that doesn't work try hard reset.

I get this problem on Lumia 635!
