I have just recently bought my first windows phone, nokia 930, now I am needing help

on how I download a particular ringtone that I cannot find on your usual apps like zedge, but that I know exist. Question is how would I go about putting it on to the phone, do I need to download the ringtone onto a pc or laptop. ?Its a nokia 930 on o2 network, and also when I look at the phone details, it says I am still on the older sw, when will o2 send me the new cyan update, I have only got the phone from an o2 shop, 1 month ago.

The easiest way to get a new ringtone on your phone is connecting to a PC and putting the ringtone in the Ringtone folder under the Music folder.

There is also the Ringtone maker apps.

The L930 has WP8.1 Cyan on the phone already. Check - Settings -> extras + info. What it might not have is Update 1. Some L930s are getting it, so it's rolling out.

You can check for updates by going to Settings -> Phone update
