Hello. I was browsing on my Nokia Lumia 520 when all of a sudden the following alert popped up on my screen: WARNING! You could be using an outdated version of WhatsApp. To avoid potential interruption of service you have to upgrade your version immediately. STEP 1: Install the application on the next page. STEP 2: Confirm your phone number (if applicable) INSTALL APPLICATION...

Normally, I would click and install the update, but shouldn't all the updates be processed through the Store? Could this be a virus or something? What should I do?

Don't download it. Updates only come via the store. WhatsApp is really loved by fake advertisers like this.
