Why am I losing my Bing homepage while I use Cortana?

when having Cortana on I lose my Bing homepage, Why !!

I have a Nokia 930, Homepage Bing, I tried Cortana, I then needed to search, when I pressed the search button ( more then once ) Cortana took over every time,
I took her off the start screen, Bing homepage reappears. Is this as it should be.

That's as it should be; Cortana takes over Bing searches.

Taking Cortana off your home screen does not work that way. The only way to get the Bing search page is by turning location off or turning Cortana off.

Cortana is Bing.. just a new way of using the search, if you type in cortana you get a bing search, and you can set all the same news and sports as you had in Bing in Cortana.
