Why can't I send/receive messages, open messenger or snapchat when my internet is working just fine?

I have a Windows Phone, which is Nokia Lumia 1020. I bought it 6 months ago, and it is well treated. All of a sudden I can't send or receive text messages (sms). I get a notification when I get a text message, but cannot open it. I also can't open or send text messages on the facebook app "Messenger", and I can't log in to the app "Snapchat". I have internet access, and I can open the following apps: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and 9GAG... One other thing that I can't do is to save pictures. I can take pictures but they doesn't appear on my camera album as they should.
What is the problem, and what can I do to fix it? Thank you.

Check your sd card. Maybe it's corrupted. If not, then soft reset by holding down volume down and power. (just like restarting a computer)
