Why isn't my music working after upgrading to 8.1?

Music not working after upgrading to 8.1

After updating to windows 8.1, music in my Lumia 625 is not working. Nothing is happening after selecting music. When i pinned it to start, music tile is disabled.

Restart the phone? Make sure you're running the Music app from the apps menu (swipe to left). Just in case you have some old apps somehow on your Start icons.

Mobile has been restarted. But the thing is when i clicked on music image no action took place.

Mine is crashing today. I re-started the phone and tried to open music with nothing else open. It doesn't even show a splash screen.

I am having the same problem too. Both calendar and music are not working.
