Why isn't my Nokia 1020 phone Onedrive syncing with my PC?

My Nokia 1020 phone Onedrive doesn't sync with my PC.

I didn't realize it till a little while ago but my Microsoft Account number isn't my live email address could this be the problem.

The Microsoft Account associated with the OneDrive App in your phone should be the same account associated with the OneDrive App/Software in your PC. To my knowledge, this account/email address does not have to be the same with the account you used for your phone, but for convenience you may want to use the same Microsoft email address/account for these three:
1. your phone Microsoft Account,
2. your OneDrive account in your phone and
3. your OneDrive account in your PC.
