When will I receive updates on my CV phone?

Updates on a CV phone

Just a quick question - I have a Lumia 920 CV - GB, which I bought on Tesco Mobile. If CV is country variant, when will I receive OS and firmware updates? I read somewhere that it's first as there's no carrier approval required? If so, any ideas on when the next OS update (live folders etc) is due to arrive in the UK on CV phones?

It depends. You will read on WPcentral when CV Variants are started to be updated. Sometimes you are lucky - sometimes you aren't. they don't always update first. If you don't want to go on the developer preview you will most certainly have to wait as long as everbody else. At least you have a Tesco mobile app now

Blimey, that was quick! Thank you, I just wondered as it normally seems carrier specific. I was on the dp program, but after a while all the nokia/Microsoft branded and system apps stopped opening so I downgraded with the Nokia recovery suite, but I'm considering rejoining the program. Thanks again!
